CSR Collaboration of Bank Resona Perdania with PT Rohto Laboratories Indonesia
PT Bank Resona Perdania, PT Rohto Laboratories Indonesia and PT Semesta Kian Yakin (Good Eyes Optic) have held a ceremony to distribute eyeglasses at National Junior High School (SMPN) 6 Cirebon on October 10, 2024 to commemorate World Sight Day 2024. This event was attended by Mr. Eiichiro Sakai as Deputy President Director of the Bank, Mr. Mukdaya Massidy as President Director of PT Rohto Laboratories Indonesia, Mr. Purnama Sidi Djajaprawira as President Director of PT Semesta Kian Yakin (Good Eyes Optics) and Mr. Mohammad Casila as Principal of National Junior High School (SMPN) 6 Cirebon.
The Bank in collaboration with PT Rohto Laboratories Indonesia held eye examinations and distributed free eyeglasses. In this series of CSR activity, 800 eyeglasses distributed to students in 9 Elementary and Junior High Schools in 3 cities, Pekanbaru, Bandung and Cirebon.
Not only providing free eyeglasses, students will also receive education how to maintain good and proper eye health, which will be delivered by PT Rohto Laboratories Indonesia and Good Eyes Optics. In addition, the Bank also hold financial literacy for students at National Junior High School (SMPN) 31 Bandung with the theme of Introduction to Finance and Banking.
The realization of this CSR collaboration including in CSR "BRP Sehat" Pillar and "BRP Cerdas" Pillar as well as contribute to improve health and intelligence of community, especially younger generation as foundation of our nation towards sustainable development growth in Indonesia.
