CSR "BRP Berkelanjutan" Comparative Study of Trigona Bee Management

On March 11, 2023, Bank Resona Perdania has hold the CSR “BRP Berkelanjutan”, cooperated with the Coordinator of Forestry Extension, DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests office (Dinas Pertamanan dan Hutan Kota Provinsi DKI Jakarta) through the ”Comparative Study of Trigona Bee Management”. This comparative study was conducted by the Karya Mandiri Bersama Urban Forest Farmer Group (KTH) which is a KTH assisted by the Coordinator of Forestry Extension, DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests office to 2 KTH wanawiyata widyakarya namely KTH Segoro Madu and KTH Sari Bunga Giyanti located in Magelang, Central Java province. The comparative study was followed by 7 members of KTH Karya Mandiri Bersama and 3 members of Coordinator of Forestry Extension, DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Forests office.

Comparative study was conducted with the aim that KTH Karya Mandiri Bersama gets information and knowledge related to the efforts to become KTH wanawiyata widyakarya with the following activities:

  1. Members of KTH Karya Mandiri Bersama together learn about kinds of trigona bees cultivation, various problems and their handling and development from KTH Sari Bunga Giyanti, with the Speaker Mr. Agung Darmawan.
  2. Members of KTH Karya Mandiri Bersama together learn the management of trigona bees into tourism commodities in the Menoreh ecotourism area, how to package the potential in the work area into attractive commodities for sale and maintain the idealism of environmental care in the KTH organization, with the Speaker is Mr. Aris Jatmiko, S.Hut,. M.Sc. and Sudaryanto KTH chairman Segoro Madu.

Wanawiyata Widyakarya is a training and apprenticeship institution in the field of forestry and environment, which is owned and managed by community groups/individuals independently.

The Bank'S CSR Program towards KTH Karya Mandiri Bersama has entered the 3rd year of the 5-year program that has been established. It is hoped that through the CSR pillar “BRP Berkelanjutan ", the Bank can contribute to community empowerment that can indirectly improve the Indonesian economy in the future.
