BRP Sustainable: Donation for Trigona Honey Bee Cultivation & Financial Literacy Program at Karya Mandiri Bersama's Urban Forest Farmers Group (KTHK)

Thursday, 8th October 2020, PT Bank Resona Perdania (“Bank”) implemented a corporate social responsibility program with the pillar of “BRP Sustainable” through community economic development activities to the Karya Mandiri Bersama Urban Forest Farmers Group (KTHK) in the form of donations for trigona honey bee cultivation activities.

The implementation of this activity can be done through the support and cooperation with the Forestry Extension, DKI Jakarta Provincial Park and City Forest Service, which acts as a government agency that provides guidance to KTHK Karya Mandiri Bersama.

This Sustainable CSR is a concrete manifestation, support and commitment of the Bank's concern for community development, especially to KTHK Karya Mandiri Bersama.

In addition, this Sustainable CSR activity is also the Bank's support for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) program with a focus on SDG No.8, namely "Decent Work and Economic Growth" and SDG No.15 "Life on Land".

On this occasion, the Bank's subsidiary, namely PT Resona Indonesia Finance ("RIF") participated in this CSR activity by providing symbolic assistance in the form of 1 (one) plant cover paranet unit to KTHK Karya Mandiri Bersama, 1 (one) water pump unit for KTHK Si Kumis, and 1 (one) unit of fish safety net for KTHK Kumbang, this assistance is a form of support for the implementation of sustainable development goals carried out by RIF

Coinciding with the month of financial inclusion in October as announced by the OJK, the Bank in collaboration with RIF also had the opportunity to hold financial literacy activities with the theme "Wise Managing Money and Smart Investing Towards Financial Freedom" which was attended by members of KTHK Karya Mandiri Bersama and members of Forestry Extension, DKI Jakarta Provincial Park and City Forest Service. On this occasion all participants were given an explanation and understanding of financial literacy, introduction to the Financial Services Authority, banking knowledge, wisely in managing money, smart ways to invest, stages towards financial freedom and knowledge about products and services of financing companies and financial services in the digital era.

It is hoped that the implementation of financial literacy at KTHK Karya Mandiri Bersama can increase participants' interest, awareness, understanding and knowledge of banking and financing institutions as a whole as well as the importance of understanding money management and investment properly towards financial freedom.

In general, this CSR and financial literacy activity has gone well, this can be seen from the enthusiasm and active participation of all participants in participating in these activities.
