Signing Agreement of CSR Program with PT Plastic Bank Indonesia to Reduce Plastic Pollution

On December 20, 2023, Bank Resona Perdania officially signed Agreement with a social enterprise, Plastic Bank Indonesia, in order to implement Corporate Social Responsibility activity on Green BRP Pillar through “BRP Waste Treatment and Recycle” program. This program is a form of the Bank’s commitment toward environment sustainability by reducing plastic pollution in the surrounding environment, especially in the ocean, while mitigating poverty through community empowerment in the coastal areas.

Bank Resona Perdania agreed on this collaboration program with Plastic Bank Indonesia for the period of 2023 and 2024 with collection target up to 15.000 kilogram of plastic wastes or equal to 750.000 plastic bottles with the size of 500ml in order to prevent ocean pollution. This cooperation is expected to be able to give positive impact for the environment as well as social welfare of Indonesians which is also in line with the Bank’s commitment to implement and support UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) program, specifically on No.1 (No Poverty), No.8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and No.14 (Life Below Water).
