Financial Literacy Program for Students and Teachers of SMK Unitomo Surabaya & CSR BRP Cerdas

Tuesday, December 19, 2023, PT Bank Resona Perdania (“Bank”) has conducted Financial Literacy to 35 (thirty-five) students and teachers of SMK Unitomo Surabaya.

In this activity, the Bank presented Financial Literacy with the theme” Strengthening Financial Resilience through increasing Financial Literacy " on this occasion all participants were given explanations and understanding of Financial Literacy, introduction to the Financial and Banking Services Authority, financial resilience, managing finances wisely, the importance of saving and investing, and understanding of Beware of illegal investments and loans.

It is expected that the implementation of Financial Literacy to students and teachers can increase participants interest, awareness, understanding and knowledge of Banking Institutions as a whole and recognize financial resilience and how to use Finance wisely.

On this occasion, the Bank also implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility program with the “BRP Cerdas” pillar through the provision of 1 (one) Laptop Unit and 2 (two) Printer units for SMK Unitomo Surabaya.

Conclusion in general, Financial Literacy and CSR activities have been running well, this can be seen from the interest and active participation of all participants in participating in these activities.
