Financial and Banking Literacy Program for Students and Teachers of SMP Negeri 31 Bandung

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, PT Bank Resona Perdania conducted financial and banking literacy for 50 (fifty) students and teachers of SMP Negeri 31 Bandung.

The Bank delivered financial literacy with the theme “Introduction to Finance and Banking”. On this occasion, all participants were given knowledge about the objectives of financial literacy, introduction to banking, Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority, introduction to bank products and services, recognizing the characteristics of authentic Rupiah currency, and education on how to prevent and be aware of the dangers of online gambling among students

This financial and banking literacy activity for students and teachers is expected to increase participants' knowledge about banking institutions including bank products and services, understand how to recognize the characteristics of authentic Rupiah currency, and also increase students' awareness and caution in dealing with the proliferation of various applications that are suspected of being online gambling.

On this occasion, the Bank also implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility program with the “BRP Cerdas” pillar by handing over 1 projector unit, and sports equipment in the form of 2 (two) floor gymnastics mats for SMP Negeri 31 Bandung Bandung.

In general, the financial and banking literacy activities and the implementation of CSR have gone well. This can be seen from the enthusiasm and active participation of all students and teachers who participated in the activities.
