Community visit in the framework of CSR Bank Resona Perdania 'Waste Treatment and Recycle' with PT Plastic Bank Indonesia

As part of Bank Resona Perdania CSR activities with ‘Pilar BRP Hijau’ through the ‘Waste Treatment and Recycle’ program, the Bank made a visit to the Plastic Bank community in Tangerang. The visit was attended by president director of the Bank, Mr. Keisuke Nakao and Indonesia Country Manager of PT Plastic Bank, Mr. Frederick Ramadhani Saman.

During the visit, the Bank saw firsthand the impact of its support for efforts to stop plastic pollution and help alleviate poverty in Indonesia. This partnership also helps to improve the welfare of PT Plastic Bank Indonesia community members who get increased income and various social programs, including basic food vouchers, health BPJS, and employment BPJS from the collection of recycled plastic.

The Bank is committed to business growth as well as its environmental and social responsibilities. Since2023, the Bank has collaborated with PT Plastic Bank Indonesia to collect 15,000 kilograms of plastic, equivalent to 750,000 500 ml PET plastic bottles from environmental pollution.
