BRP Green Earth: 1,500 Productive Plant Seeds Plantation

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, PT Bank Resona Perdania (Bank) has successfully conducted CSR Pilar Hijau with program "BRP Green Earth". Having cooperation with DKI Jakarta Forestry Department and KTH Kumbang, Bank has simultaneously planted 1,500 productive plant seeds at 7 city forests of DKI Jakarta. This program attended by the representative of Bank Resona Perdania namely Head of Corporate Secretary Section, Ms. Bhogi Kinekes; Head of Forest Resources Conservation and Watershed Areas Section of DKI Jakarta Forestry Department, Mr. Arie Fajar Septa; Forestry Instructor Coordinator, Mr. Sugeng Santoso; The Head of KTH Kumbang, Bapak Suparman; and  Head  of Srengseng Sawah Subdistrict, Mr. Adhi Suryo.

7 city forests of  DKI Jakarta which are the location of planting, such as:
1. City Forest Jalan Wika, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta
2. City Forest Jalan Anda Jagakarsa, South Jakarta
3. City Forest Munjul, Cipayung, East Jakarta
4. City Forest Jalan Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta
5. City Forest Bambu Wulung, Setu, East Jakarta
6. City Forest Srengseng, Kembangan, West Jakarta
7. City Forest Sukapura, Cilincing, North Jakarta

The types of seeds planted were 300 stems of avocado cipedak/ miki, 150 stems of mango, 200 stems of durian, 250 stems of lime, 300 stems of lemon, 150 stems of crystal guava, and 150 stems of tangerine.

Through this CSR program 1,500 productive plant seeds plantation, expected to provide many benefits, namely, to restore the ecosystem preservation in DKI Jakarta area, especially the area around the city forest, the implementation of soil and water conservation for disaster prevention in the area around the city forest and enrichment of tree species in the city forest.
