Established in 1958, Bank Resona Perdania, through its many name changes has over the years actively nurtured international business development cooperation between Japan and Indonesia. Through collaboration with our holding company in Japan, Resona Bank Ltd. (formerly known as Daiwa Bank Ltd.), Bank Resona Perdania has been serving the country’s business and industry communities for over 50 years.  

The bank’s services encompass a wide range of corporate banking products and services such as Time Deposits, Loans, Export and Import, Remittance, Bank Guarantee, as well as Lease Financing through its subsidiary PT Resona Indonesia Finance.
 
Bank Resona Perdania has maintained a focus on Japanese joint-venture companies since its inception. Inline with the changing dynamics of the global economy and its positive impact on Indonesia, the Bank ventured into new markets, with a new focus on domestic companies.
 
Bank Resona Perdania comes from an interesting pedigree, with international shareholders that represent solid organizations with an extensive business experience and excellent reputation, the Bank’s main shareholders are:
 
Resona Bank Ltd., Japan, is a subsidiary of Resona Holdings, Inc., and engages in the banking and trust banking business activities in Japan, offering various banking products and services to small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals. The Tokyo-based company was founded in 1918 and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
 
The Bank of East Asia Ltd., Hong Kong, is the largest independent local bank and the third largest bank in Hong Kong. The Bank was founded in Hong Kong in 1918.
 
About “Resona Perdania”
From the Latin word “Resonus” (meaning to resonate or to be of a resounding nature), “Resona” reflects the intention to develop a beneficial mutual relationship between the Bank and her customers. The name “Perdania” is a combination of the abbreviation of the Indonesian words for Trade (“Perdagangan”), Industry (“Perindustrian”), and Agriculture (“Pertanian”), and reflect the Bank’s mission to become a facilitator of economic growth between Japan and Indonesia.

Further recognition of the Bank’s reputation is evident from the numerous awards and achievement collected over the years. Recent achievement was the total asset that reach Rp 10 trillion in 2011, an achievement fruit from hard work and dedication from all persons in the Bank.
 
The Bank’s drive to constantly improve customer satisfaction was further solidified with the launch of Perdania Direct electronic banking in 2002. This service then evolved into Perdania Direct Internet Banking in 2007.

Bank Resona Perdania was rated “Excellent” financial performance by InfoBank Magazine for its Financial Report for the year 2010.
 
2011 InfoBank Golden Trophy
Bank Resona Perdania received the 2011 InfoBank Golden Trophy from InfoBank Magazine for its “Excellent” financial performance for the period 2006 – 2010.
 
Elite Quality Recognition Award from JP Morgan
Bank Resona Perdania was awarded by JP Morgan for sending high quality MT 103 and MT 202 when corresponding with other banks.
 
The Most Efficient and Profitable Bank
Bank Resona Perdania awarded as the 2nd most efficient and the 4th most profitable Bank by Tempo Magazine from 20 mid level bank with asset under IDR 30 trillion and some foreign banks in Indonesia.
 
Achieve Total Assets of Rp10 trillion
As per financial audit report of December 31, 2011, Bank Resona Perdania successfully booked assets exceeding Rp10 trillion. This is the result of the Bank’s excellent performance and commitment in developing business, and marks a new era of growth in the future.
