PT Bank Resona Perdania Scholarship Program with University of Indonesia, Faculty of Humanity, Japanese Study Program

Depok, November 27, 2012, Bank Resona Perdania sign a Scholarship Program with University of Indonesia, Faculty of Humanity, Japanese Study Program, this program is manifestation of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in line with Resona Group’s CSR Policy, “We position symbiotic relationship with communities as our important mission and work on solving social issues by utilizing our experience and resources”.
 
We are fully aware that education is one of the efforts to improve the welfare of society and the nation in creating a better future. Therefore Bank Resona Perdania collaborate with the University of Indonesia in Scholarship Program given to high performance students in the Faculty of Humanities, Japanese Study Program.

This scholarship program is given in the form of tuition assistance and allowances in cash to the selected students for one year. "We hope that this will help the students who received a scholarship to complete the study" as revealed by Mr. Akihiro Miyamoto, President Director of Bank Resona Perdania in signing ceremony at the University of Indonesia, Faculty of Humanities, Depok.

Bank Resona Perdania committed to contribute in the achievement of a better future, spirits that will never cease to contribute in developing the next generation.



PT Bank Resona Perdania Banking Education Program at Rukun Warga (RW) 01 office, Kelurahan Ujung Menteng, East Jakarta.

On Monday, September 24, 2012, PT Bank Resona Perdania has conducted Banking Education Program to Rukun Warga (RW) 01 office, Kelurahan Ujung Menteng, East Jakarta. In this education program, PT Bank Resona Perdania tries to provide education regarding bank’s products and services generally. Purpose of this program was :
 
1.       Increasing society’s understanding of bank’s products and services.
2.       Increasing society’s awareness by using banking services to facilitate
 their financial loan.
3.       Increasing the understanding of cost that might appear from banking
 transaction.
 
The program was implemented well, it shown by questions that were raised from participant in this program, it was based on reality of banking services and products that they received. In order to raise public awareness of banking services and products, PT Bank Resona Perdania will continuously conduct the Banking Education Program in the future.



Togetherness in Sahur and Social Activity on Al-Andalusia Orphanage

On Saturday, August 4, 2012, PT Bank Resona Perdania holds social events at the Al-Andalusia Orphanage. It was conducted by giving of cash donation and food to 35 children and the orphanage.

By this activity, it is expected that it can help the daily operational activities of the orphanage, teaching and learning activities, and repairment of the orphanage’s facilities such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and praying room.

PT Bank Resona Perdania fully aware that society in general has indirect contribution to the company’s growth, therefore, PT Bank Resona Perdania expressed its commitment to build a good quality community as a manifestation of corporate social responsibility.




Christmas with Sight Impaired Children at Elsafan Foundation

On January 15, 2012, Bank Resona Perdania held a 2011 Christmas Celebration with sight-impaired children at Elsafan Foundation in East Jakarta. The objective was to help spread Christmas joy with the less fortunate, and extend donations in the form of brailed stationery, personal care products, and cash. It is hoped that the event could support the teaching activities and inspire the children to do their best.


PT Bank Resona Perdania Banking Education Program at Penggilingan Distric Office, East Jakarta

On Monday, May 7, 2012, PT Bank Resona Perdania has conducted Banking Education Program to Penggilingan District Office, East Jakarta. In this education program PT Bank Resona Perdania tries to provide education regarding bank products and services generally. This education program was in line with Pillars of financial inclusion Bank Indonesia, 1st pillar financial education to increase the society understanding regarding the benefit and risk of bank products.
 
The objective of this banking education program are :

1. The societies will oriented in financial transaction using banking services.
2. Increasing the understanding of kind of bank products and services.
3. Increasing the understanding of interest and cost calculation in doing 
    transaction with bank.

The program that implemented by PT Bank Resona Perdania was accepted with great enthusiasm by the members of many questions were raised in this program that based on reality. In order to raise public awareness of banking services and products, PT Bank Resona Perdania will looking forward to hold another Banking Education Program in continuously.



PT Bank Resona Perdania Donation Program

On Thursday, July 21, 2011, PT Bank Resona Perdania has implemented donation program by giving fund donation to Bandung Japanese School located in Bandung, West Java. This donation program is held annually and the latest program was held on June 2010. Aiming to support education activity and other supporting activity such as Japanese Children Day and Sports Day in Bandung Japanese School.




PT Bank Resona Perdania Education Program to LKMD members at Penggilingan-Cakung, East Jakarta

On Friday, September 23, 2011, PT Bank Resona Perdania has conducted Banking Education Program which was attended by the members of LKMD and invitation in Penggilingan, Cakung, East Jakarta. In this education program PT Bank Resona Perdania tries to provide education regarding banking industry directly to the society and who’s own small businesses, where the activities of this communities were support the banking system generally. This education program was in line with Pillars I of financial inclusion Bank Indonesia, Pillar I financial education to increase the society understanding regarding the benefit and risk of bank products.

The objective of this banking education program are :
1. Raising the awareness banking services and products.
2. The societies will oriented in financial transaction using banking services.
3. Benefits as well as the cost related to such banking transactions to be more 
    understanding.
4. Societies were understood of banking services and it is used based on their
    needs.
 
The program that implemented by PT Bank Resona Perdania was accepted with great enthusiasm by the members of LKMD and people around LKMD, many questions were raised in this program. In order to raise public awareness of banking services and products, PT Bank Resona Perdania will looking forward to hold another Banking Education Program in continuously.



PT Bank Resona Perdania Donation to Earthquake and Tsunami victims in Japan

Tokyo, March 11, 2011, an earthquake magnitude 9,0 on the Richter scale has devastated the area in Miyagi Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture and Iwate Prefecture, its causing 10,489 people died, more than 16,600 people disappear and 18,000 houses destroyed and 140,000 houses disrepair. In order to provide aid to the earthquake and tsunami victims, PT Bank Resona Perdania give donation through the Jakarta Japan Club on March 29, 2011.


PT Bank Resona Perdania Education Program to Public Health Center (PUSKESMAS) at Penggilingan, East Jakarta

On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, PT. Bank Resona Perdania conducted banking education program at Penggilingan, East Jakarta, Public Health Center. The participants included Health Center doctors, nurses, and people from the neighborhood many owning micro size business. The banking education program is in line with Pillar 6 – Indonesian Banking Architecture issued by Bank Indonesia that states that the banks are obliged to conduct banking education program to the society. Indoing so, we hope to accomplish the following:

 

1.      To provide understanding on various bank products and services which can be tailored to their needs.

2.      To inform the risk relating to the bank products and services.

3.      To increase awareness of prudence when using bank products and services.

4.       To support society in using Bank products and services.

 

The banking education program was accepted with great enthusiasm by participants. Many interesting questions were raised relating to loan interest, payment method, terms and conditions and documents in addition to information on PT. Bank Resona Perdania. We will continue to provide such banking education program to other members of the society in the future.
