Scholarship Event & Financial Literacy Program at Universitas Darma Persada, Jakarta

Tuesday, 22nd October 2019, PT Bank Resona Perdania ("Bank") for the third time provided scholarships to 5 achievers college students from Darma Persada University ("Unsada") with a total educational assistance funds of IDR98,000,000. The awarding of the scholarship was done symbolically by Mr. Iding Suherdi as Director of the Bank to Mr. Tri Mardjoko as Acting Rector Unsada located at the Rector's Building Unsada who was attended by all scholarship recipients along with their parents and all invited guests who attended.

This scholarship activity is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") programs owned by the Bank. The activity is included in the pillar of "BRP Cerdas" which is a manifestation and tangible contribution of the Bank's concern to the development of education in Indonesia.

On this occasion, a subsidiary of Bank, namely PT Resona Indonesia Finance ("RIF") also participated in CSR activities at Unsada by providing for 7 (seven) unit sorted trash cans as a form of support for the implementation of sustainable development goals activities carried out by RIF. The assistance was symbolically given by Mrs. Evy Budijanti as Director of RIF to Mr. Tri Mardjoko as Acting Rector Unsada.

Coinciding with the financial inclusion month in October as announced by the OJK, the Bank in collaboration with RIF also had the opportunity to organize financial literacy activities with the theme "Smart Utilizing Financial Services in the Digital Banking Era" which was attended by college students, lecturers and the management of Unsada. On this occasion all participants were given an explanation and understanding of financial literacy, the introduction of the Financial Services Authority, banking and leasing as well as banking services knowledge in the digital era.

It is hoped that the implementation of financial literacy at Unsada can increase the interest, awareness, understanding and knowledge of participants towards the banking and leasing institution as a whole as well as the importance of understanding banking services in the digital financial era.

In general, the scholarship and financial literacy activities have been going well, this can be seen from the interest and active participation of all participants in these activities.
